A church to call home

Join Us Every Sunday at 10am

You Are Welcome Here

Eastview Baptist Church is a community of people, seeking to know Christ and share His love with others.

Family is important to us, so children and youth are a big part of what we do. We run a contemporary service with kids programmes available for all ages.

On Fridays at 7pm we run a youth group for secondary school students.

Whatever your background or stage on your faith journey, we welcome you and your family to participate in worship, learning and serving together.

We invite you to join us this Sunday, 10am at 559 Chapel Road, Botany.

What We Believe

Eastview is a Community

Who believe in God the Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Spirit - one God; who are repentant of sin and have been saved by personal faith in Jesus Christ through His atoning death and resurrection; and who are willing to be committed to the church's aims and functions.

The Church Affirms

  • The inspiration of the Bible and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice.
  • The true humanity and Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • The atonement made on the Cross by our Lord for the sin of the world.
  • Salvation by faith in Christ alone.
  • Membership in the Christian church for the regenerate.
  • The immersion of believers as the only Scriptural form of baptism.

The Ordinances of the Church

Believer's baptism by immersion & Communion of the Lord's supper, which is held at least monthly and is open to all believers.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

John 3:16

We believe all people were created by God to be in relationship with Him. To this day it is His desire to walk with us because he loves us as sons and daughters.

However, we live in an imperfect world and God's standard of holiness  is impossible to achieve without his grace.

God desires a relationship with us so much that he sent his only son, Jesus, to earth to show us how to live like him and to pay the price of our wrongdoing, by dying on a Roman cross. An innocent man, dying a criminals death.

Salvation is a free gift offered by our Father in Heaven to all. The thing is, it is our choice whether we want to live our lives with him. He has his arm extended to us, ready for us to take hold of as and when we choose.

A relationship with God begins with a commitment to follow him and a desire to live more like Jesus. This relationship grows as we put our faith in him and connect with a church community to support us in our journey with Christ. You can read more about Jesus' life on earth in the Bible starting in the book of Matthew.

If you would like to talk to someone further about beginning a relationship with Jesus please get in touch.
